What treatment involves
Joints and muscles get treated together
When a joint becomes restricted, the muscles around it go weak or tight — and the reverse is just as true. Your treatment may combine any of the following, depending on what the examination shows.
Chiropractic adjustments
Controlled, targeted adjustments that restore correct joint motion.
Dry needling
Releases tight muscle spots and increases blood flow to the area.
Kinesio taping
Relieves pain, reduces swelling and supports joints and muscles.
Soft tissue therapy
Targeted clinical massage that reduces tension and restores range of movement.
Exercises
Specific movements to strengthen weak muscles and stretch tight ones.

What actually happens when you come in
Most people booking have never seen a chiropractor before. Here is the shape of it.
History and examination
Dr Mark asks what happened and what makes it worse, then examines your posture, spine and how the joints and muscles are working.
Findings explained
You are told what is causing the pain and what can realistically be done about it, before any treatment starts.
Treatment and a plan
Where appropriate, treatment begins in the same visit — along with what to do at home and whether you need to come back.
